Shu Chan, a native of Taiwan and closest friend of Dr. Ann Wigmore, worked directly with Dr. Ann and was appointed her successor by Dr. Ann prior to her death in 1994. Shu has expanded on the theories and practices she learned while with Dr. Ann. One of Shu's dreams has been to have her own learning center where people could come and experience health in a natural way. Her expertise in living,, whole foods, growing and preparing healthful foods and sprouts, and applying those concepts to everyday health, is unsurpassed. Shu also has a passion for preparing the highest quality foods that brings the body back into balance. We all need help at times along our path through life, and the teachings of Shu Chan will assist you in your pursuit of natural, healthy living.

Dwayne Madsen has been involved in the pursuit of healthful living over half of his adult life. Dwayne is the designer, architect, and primary builder at Living Foods Learning Center. Many alternative building techniques have been used and are a learning opportunity in themselves. All the buildings at Living Foods Learning Center are constructed of earth friendly materials. The greenhouse techniques, both building and growing, is shared with others who have chosen to pursue a more earth sustaining, natural approach to life and health that is friendly to living beings. Dwayne shares his vast knowledge in his classes with those who come to Living Foods Learning Center.

The entire operation is off the grid, which provides other opportunities for learning earth friendly living.
